Try the same task in both products
This page does not publish a head-to-head result. It gives you the method, so the result you act on is from your own material.
Pick one real assignment
Choose something you already do: a contract summary, a spreadsheet clean-up, a briefing from three PDFs. Avoid prompts written to flatter either tool.
Give both the same inputs
Same files, same instructions, same time limit, on the plan you would actually pay for. Free tiers may not behave like paid plans.
Score before you compare
Grade each result against the rubric on the right before reading the other one. Count the edits you would need before sending it.
Decide with the cost in hand
Note the credits, messages or limits each run used. A slightly better answer that burns your allowance in a week is not a better plan.

Questions before you switch
Will I still get ChatGPT's app-specific features?
No. Custom GPTs, Codex and ChatGPT Work are OpenAI products, and using OpenAI's models inside ZeroTwo does not bring them along. ZeroTwo has its own projects, agents, Canvas and connectors, so the question is whether those cover the features you actually use.
Which models are available on my plan?
Model selection is limited on Free, fast models on Plus, a better selection on Pro and Pro 2×, and all models on Ultra and Ultra 2×. The models page lists what is currently offered.
Can I transfer my existing conversations?
This page does not claim an import path from ChatGPT. Keep your history in ChatGPT, finish in-flight work there, and start new assignments in ZeroTwo. Files and instructions have to be moved by hand.
What usage limits affect my workload?
On Free, you get 100 free credits to start, 20 bonus credits every day you log in and 1 file upload per message. Paid plans add a monthly allowance, and credit-backed work draws on it: 1,650 credits on Plus and 3,500 on Pro, plus free Auto requests (1,000 and 2,500 a month). Chat with fast models does not mean unlimited credit-backed work or every model on every plan.
When should I keep ChatGPT instead?
Keep it if OpenAI's models cover your work, you rely on Custom GPTs or Codex, or your team is already on a ChatGPT workspace plan. A single-vendor app has nothing to switch between, and that can be the simpler choice.
