Two $20 plans, read from the vendors' own pages
We compared what each plan includes using Claude's and OpenAI's own pricing pages, read on 5 October 2026, then added what a month actually costs. ZeroTwo publishes this page and sells a competing plan, so the verdicts below are labelled as our reading, not as test results.

Correction. An earlier version of this page said Claude Code had been removed from Claude Pro and now needed a $100 plan. Claude's pricing page and help center currently say otherwise, so we rebuilt the page from them.
Each cell restates what the vendor's page shows, in plain words. The last column is our reading of why the row matters. It deliberately has no "winner" column.

Because both $20 plans include a coding agent, price does not decide this one. What you need to know is how each is metered and what a coding agent is compared with code execution in chat.

Not the same thing
Claude lists creating and editing files with code execution on every plan, including Free. ChatGPT lists data analysis as a feature on Plus. Both run code for a chat answer. Articles often print a message count for each plan. We found none on either vendor's page, so this page prints none either.
Only list prices appear here, with no usage assumptions. ZeroTwo Plus at $14.99 sits below either $20 plan, and ZeroTwo Pro at $29.99 costs more than one $20 plan and less than two. They are different products, so the right-hand column matters as much as the price.

This is an opinion from reading the plan pages. We have not run a head-to-head task test, and the right pick can be the competitor.
Be clear about what you would lose before you cancel anything.
Claude Code and Codex are the vendors' products. ZeroTwo's code agent and ZeroCode are ZeroTwo's own, so they are not drop-in replacements for either.
ChatGPT Work, the Office extensions, Claude in Chrome and the Microsoft 365 connection are tied to each vendor's plan. A different workspace does not replace them.
Which models ZeroTwo carries, and when they arrive, is listed on its model library. The vendor's own app is the reference for what it has just shipped.
Both plans here are individual plans. Claude's pricing page lists Team separately, at $20 per seat per month billed annually or $25 monthly, and ChatGPT lists Business separately. This page does not compare those.
Plans move faster than articles. Five minutes on the vendors' own pages beats any comparison, this one included.
Open both pricing pages and read the price for your region, including tax.
Find the coding tool you use in the plan's feature list, not in a summary article.
Open each vendor's usage-limit help page and note how limits reset.
Check the exact model you want in the model rows, since lists change.
Find the cancel path. Claude's page says you can cancel any time and keep access to the end of the period.
Yes. Claude's pricing page marks Claude Code as included on Pro, and its Pro and Max help article describes using it in the terminal and in supported IDEs under the same usage limits as chat. An earlier version of this page said Claude Code had moved to a $100 plan. That was wrong and has been corrected. We checked on 5 October 2026, and plans can change, so confirm on Claude's page.
ChatGPT's pricing page marks Codex as included on Plus, with limited access on Free and Go and expanded access on Pro. It adds that limits apply and links to a limits page. We read it on 5 October 2026.

Neither vendor publishes a fixed count. Claude says limits reset on a rolling five-hour window, paid plans add weekly limits, and what you can do depends on conversation length, model and features. ChatGPT marks messages and uploads as expanded on Plus and says limits apply.
It depends on the model. Claude's page lists context up to 1M tokens, varying by model. ChatGPT's page lists 256K total for reasoning models and 54K total for Instant models on Plus. Compare the model you would actually use, and treat older 200K against 128K comparisons as out of date.
The Claude plan feature table we read does not list image generation, while ChatGPT's table marks image generation as Yes on Plus. Claude's page does list Claude Design, Slides and Docs on Pro, which are different features. Check Claude's current page before you rely on either.
Claude's page says you can cancel at any time and your plan stays active until the end of the billing period, and recommends cancelling at least 24 hours before renewal. For ChatGPT, follow OpenAI's billing help for your account.
