Every meeting ends with captured action items, not forgotten promises

After every meeting, ZeroTwo reads the full Zoom transcript, identifies action items, decisions, and open questions, assigns owners based on who said what, and routes tasks to Notion or Linear based on type. A summary posts to Slack within minutes.

Meetings generate promises that nobody tracks

A one-hour meeting ends with six things people agreed to do. Nobody writes them down. Or rather, the 'meeting notes' person captures discussion points but misses the commitments buried in cross-talk. By Friday, nobody remembers who was supposed to do what. The things that felt urgent and obvious at 2 PM Tuesday are gone by Thursday standup.

This is not a tool problem. It is a cognitive load problem. The person taking notes is also trying to participate. And even when someone does write down action items, they end up in a Google Doc that nobody checks again. The gap between 'we agreed' and 'it got done' is where organizational productivity dies.

How ZeroTwo extracts action items from every meeting

1

Reads the full meeting transcript with speaker attribution

Zoom

47 minutes of transcript ingested across 4 participants with timestamps and topic flow

2

Extracts action items from conversational context

Google

ZeroTwo found 6 commitments buried in phrases like 'I'll handle that,' 'Can you send me...,' and 'Let's get this done by Friday'

3

Assigns owners and infers deadlines from who said what

Google

ZeroTwo matched each item to the speaker or addressee and inferred deadlines from 'by end of week' and 'before the launch'

4

Creates cross-functional tasks with transcript context

Notion

4 tasks created — follow-ups, decisions to communicate, docs to share — each linked to the relevant transcript excerpt

5

Routes engineering work with priority and assignee

Linear

2 issues filed in the correct project so eng knows exactly what was discussed and agreed

6

Posts the meeting summary to the project channel

Slack

3 key decisions, 6 action items routed, and 2 unresolved questions flagged for follow-up

Triggered after every recorded meeting · Tasks created in Notion and Linear, summary posted to Slack

Frequently asked questions

Yes. ZeroTwo supports any meeting platform that produces a transcript. Zoom is the most common, but Microsoft Teams and Google Meet transcripts are processed the same way.

ZeroTwo flags vague commitments separately from concrete action items. Items like 'I'll look into it' are captured with context but marked as needing clarification, so nothing slips through but nothing gets over-specified either.

Yes. ZeroTwo uses conversational markers (agreement from multiple speakers, definitive language, topic closure) to separate decisions from brainstorming or open discussion. The summary clearly labels what was decided versus what was explored.

ZeroTwo checks for existing tasks with similar descriptions and owners. If a meeting references ongoing work that already has a Notion task, ZeroTwo updates it with new context and deadline changes rather than creating a duplicate.

ZeroTwo only processes meetings where recording and transcription are explicitly enabled by participants. Transcripts are processed in isolation and not retained after tasks are created. You can exclude specific meetings or recurring series from processing entirely.
